SANTA CLARITA, CA – Congressman Mike Garcia (CA-27) released the following statement after tonight’s primary results. Rep. Garcia will now face extreme liberal George Whitesides in the November general election.

“I am honored and humbled to once again receive the support of so many constituents. Tonight’s results are a testament to the fact that our mission and message is resonating with CA-27: Ensure the security of California families.

“Tonight, I am hopeful about America’s future. Yes, of course, there is much work that lies ahead. From historic inflation to staggering debt, an open border to rising crime, we must correct course on many fronts. But I don’t believe the American people are intimidated by this task. I believe we’re a nation determined to seize the opportunity to get this country back on track, and I look forward to working with you to do just that.

“So together, let’s start moving America forward – toward a future that’s built on security, from the economy to the border. Let’s start passing common-sense policies that preserve your freedoms, protect your communities, and restore America’s standing on the international stage. And let’s start working to win in November so that our beautiful nation not only recovers from the current blizzard of crises, but ultimately thrives.”
